What is sensitive skin?

This skin type is defined by unpleasant or irritating symptoms like itchiness, tingling, burning or redness. It can be prone to being sensitive as the skin barrier, which acts as a protective shield, can become weakened.
You know you have sensitive skin if your skin is reactive – to changes in the weather, stress, your environment, or even specific ingredients within products.
Maybe you develop rashes often, your skin is prone to dryness or cracking, or you’re prone to sunburn.
When you learn to spot the signs or triggers, you can help your skin to stay calm and balanced.
How to look after this skin type: look for lightweight moisturisers and really gentle cream cleansers to be kind to your skin and prevent irritation.
