Should I remove makeup before bed?

The short answer is: yes. Absolutely yes!
To give a little background – your skin renews itself overnight while you sleep, so if it’s covered in layers of makeup and skincare, you’re preventing that from happening.
Your skin can’t absorb nutrients, release oils or shed dead skin cells as it normally would, so pores become blocked – which of course, can lead to breakouts, irritation, excess oil. All the good stuff (not)!
Your skin has also been exposed to impurities and dirt throughout the day – your makeup doesn’t protect from that. So it’s important that you cleanse (make it double if you can) to really keep your skin as clean as possible.
It’s simple really: if you want to prevent spots, clean your skin!
