Just like breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it’s just as important to have a healthy morning routine, from the minute you wake up.
Here are five ways to set you up for a more positive, productive day:
- Avoid your phone when you wake up – don’t let it be the first thing you look at. No more doom scrolling in bed, so you have time for other things!
- Drink lots of water – kickstart your system with some much-needed hydration.
- Have a healthy breakfast – a biscuit or a piece of fruit won’t cut it. Whatever meal you choose (we love granola and yoghurt or peanut butter toast), make sure it’s wholesome and substantial to last you until breaktime.
- Exercise a little – if you have time, take a moment to move your body. That doesn’t have to mean a marathon-style run – it could be a 10-minute yoga stretch.
- Do your skincare – cleanser, moisturiser and SPF. The essentials.
