Just like breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it’s just as important to have a healthy morning routine, from the minute you wake up.

Here are five ways to set you up for a more positive, productive day:
  1. Avoid your phone when you wake up – don’t let it be the first thing you look at. No more doom scrolling in bed, so you have time for other things!
  2. Drink lots of water – kickstart your system with some much-needed hydration.
  3. Have a healthy breakfast – a biscuit or a piece of fruit won’t cut it. Whatever meal you choose (we love granola and yoghurt or peanut butter toast), make sure it’s wholesome and substantial to last you until breaktime.
  4. Exercise a little – if you have time, take a moment to move your body. That doesn’t have to mean a marathon-style run – it could be a 10-minute yoga stretch.
  5. Do your skincare – cleanser, moisturiser and SPF. The essentials.
