How do I use the Soft & Smokey palette edit?

This is part two to our makeup look series, where we break down our palette edits with easy step-by-step guides, so you know exactly how to use each pod!

If you’ve bought or are planning to shop our Soft & Smokey Palette Edit, then keep reading. It’s all about a more statement shimmer eyeshadow look with metallic shades. If that’s your vibe, this makeup set is for you.

Open your indu Customisable Palette to get started:

1. Always start with a clean face as your base, then apply your moisturiser, toner (optional) and SPF before starting with any makeup.

2. First, start with eyeshadow. In a collection like this, it’s always best to start with a flat colour – here it’s Coffee Bean – and then you can build up the shimmer from there. Apply across your entire lid with either your fingertips or a brush.

3. Moving on to the eye's crease, choose one of the darker shimmer shades (we’d pick Chocolate Ganache) and apply to the outer corners of the eye, blending upwards and outwards to create a seamless transition.

4. Apply the lighter shimmer – like Moonlight – to the centre of the eyelid, and lightly buff to blend with a fluffy eyeshadow brush.

5. For that coveted glow, add dimension with Rose Dust – you can apply anywhere you want to catch the light-on your brow bone, nose, or cheek bones. You could even apply to the inner corners of your eye to finish off the eye look.

6. Now your eyes are complete, here’s where you can apply your favourite base products, if you wear any.

7. Follow with your favourite mascara (we love our Stand Up Tubing Mascara) and base products, if you wear them, to complete the look.
