How do I maintain healthy lashes?
How do I...
There are multiple ways to make sure you keep your lashes as strong, long and healthy as possible. But, remember: it’s normal for some individual lashes to fall out occasionally – it’s all part of their natural cycle.
Here are the top ways to maintain healthy lashes:
Use tubing mascara – instead of clinging to the lashes, tubing mascara wraps around the lashes. It’s also easily removed with warm water – it just slips right off. So no panda eyes, and no rubbing your eyes either.
Be careful with eyelash curlers – we know that since it’s one of the must-have tools in every teen’s makeup bag, but make sure you’re not overusing – as this, along with too much pressure can lead to more breakage.
Limit waterproof mascara – this can be harder to remove and can require stronger makeup removal products, which can weaken your lashes.
Limit lash extensions or false lashes – rather than every day, stick to special occasions or holidays for these. Otherwise they can cause lashes to fall out or become thinner.
