What's the best eyeshadow for my eye colour?

Whether you’re an expert makeup artist or a complete beginner, a big part of discovering which eyeshadows work for you is knowing which colours suit your eyes and your skin tone.

Depending on your eye colour and skin tone, certain shades will make your eyes pop.

To help you get started, we’ve got some handy hints for each eye colour. FYI: this isn’t a hard and fast rule, so don’t let this list stop you from experimenting with all the shades in your palette. But if you're stuck, it’s a good place to start:

Brown eyes
Shades to look for: warm browns, copper, gold, purple, burgundy and blues

Your perfect indu eyeshadows: Golden Hour, Firelight, Moonlight, Mulberry, Moon Blue, Comet, Soft-Glide Eye Pencil – Blue Lagoon

Blue eyes

Shades to look for: orange, amber neutrals, copper, soft brown, shimmery peach or champagne tones

Green eyes

Shades to look for: warm oranges, red, gold, rose-gold, warm neutrals, purple and pink
