Netflix & glow skincare routine

There’s nothing better than curling up with your favourite Netflix show, a cosy blanket and some snacks. But while you’re lost in drama, romance or fantasy worlds, your skin might start to suffer from high screen time, dehydration or even snack-induced breakouts.

I've created this Netflix & Glow skincare routine as a way to pamper your skin while you binge-watch! No extra time needed – just multi-tasking self-care.

Cleanse away the day

Before hitting play, wash off the day’s dirt, oil, and makeup with a gentle cleanser.
Pro Tip: Double cleanse if you are wearing makeup! You can wipe makeup away seamlessly with Cleansing Pads

Snack smart for clear skin

Swap greasy chips for skin-friendly snacks:
Dark chocolate (antioxidants)
Green tea (reduces puffiness)
Fruit & nuts (vitamins + healthy fats)
🚫 Avoid: Dairy-heavy snacks (can trigger breakouts)

Mid-binge multi-tasking: treatments while you watch

Mask & chill

Sheet masks, clay masks, or overnight masks – pick one based on your skin’s mood:

Movie & series recs to match your skincare mood

Rom-Com Vibes = hydrating & glowy skin

Watch: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, The Holiday, Set It Up
Skincare Mood: Pink-cheeked, dewy skin – opt for Clear & Glow Tonic Juice and the One & Only pH GlowOil for that rom-com flush!

Horror/Thriller night = calming & soothing

Watch: Secret Obsession, Disturbia, Get Out, Wednesday
Skincare Mood: Use Hydrating & Nourish Tonic Milk to calm all skin types.

Animated/Feel-Good = fun & DIY skincare

Skincare Mood: indu's Moisture Fix Mask has all the hydrating, pillowy soft goodness

Drama/Cry session = depuff & refresh

Watch: The Fault in Our Stars, This Is Us, Mr Plankton
Skincare Mood: Tears = puffy eyes! Use a cooling eye mask or cucumber slices while you chill out, literally.

Post-binge wind down: bedtime skincare

Massage away the tension

If you’ve been squinting and tensing up at plot twists or cliffhangers, an easy face massage is one way to relax:
  • Use a jade roller or Gua Sha, focussing on under the eyes, jawline, and forehead

Lock in moisture

Before bed (or your next episode... we listen and we don’t judge), top up the hydration with:

Blue light protection

(For tablets, iPads and laptops) If you’re watching on a screen, you might want to protect your skin from blue light. Try:
  • SPF during the day (Everyday Hero SPF50+ has added blue light protection) and cleanse afterwards
  • Blue light glasses (helps with eye strain too)
