Your skin needs extra care on those long sunny summer days. We’ve created an easy checklist to help you keep on top of that simple skincare routine!

  1. Cleanse, cleanse, double cleanse – especially in the summer weather, you might find that your skin is oilier as you will sweat more during the day. The best way to combat this excess oil is with a good cleanser. Keep your skin clean, and it’s less likely to break out or be blemish prone.
    Our cleansing pads are perfect for an on-the-go skin refresh if you’re exercising and sweating. Don’t forget to reapply your SPF after you’ve used it!
  2. Lightweight moisturiser – in the heat, skin can become dry, so it’s good to keep moisturised. But equally, you can switch to a more lightweight formula to help prevent excess oil and shine in the sun. To keep on top of the moisture, use a thicker moisturiser in the evenings.
  3. SPF! – we say this often, but the SPF step should be all day, every day. Reapply every few hours, especially if you’re out in the sun, but even if you’re not – make sure you keep a backup in your bag.
  4. Cleansing pads – perfect for on the go refreshes if you’re exercising and sweating. Don’t forget to reapply SPF once you’ve used them!
  5. Up the glow – since there’s (hopefully) more sunshine in the summer, help to give your skin a natural glow and hydration boost with a toner like our Hydrate & Nourish Tonic, then top up with a flush of colour from our One & Only pH GlowOil.
  6. Lip care – if you’re travelling or going on holiday, you might find that your lips get a little dry – opt for a nourishing lip oil to keep them feeling soft and hydrated.
