The ultimate festival and concert survival kit

From a regular festival and concert lover!

What should you pack for a festival or concert? Here’s my festival and concert survival kit

MUST HAVES

A suitable bag: I carry everything I need in a shoulder bag or a bag that's about the size of an A4 sheet of paper. You'll want a bag that's big enough to carry everything you’ll need, that’s small enough to fit the festival or venue restrictions.

Phone: This is the most vital thing that you’ll need to pack for any festival or concert, so you can keep in contact with friends and family (as well as people you're with - in case someone gets lost). You’ll also be able to take photos and videos, which is a must for me.

Battery pack: To go hand-in-hand with your phone, I would recommend bringing a power bank (battery pack) just in case your phone dies. Phones can run out of battery quickly, especially at a concert or festival. When you’re on it basically all day, it’s bound to run out of battery.

Empty 500ml water bottle: Whenever I go to a concert or a festival, I always bring an empty plastic water bottle. There are always free water refill stations around the venue, so it’s more cost-effective and better for the environment (not loads of litter being produced, as you are reusing water bottles). Warning: some venues might take the caps of your water, as they might be banned.

Skincare: My must have skincare product is indu's Everyday Hero SPF50+, as when I am queuing for concerts or outside for a festival, l’ll be in the sun. So bringing SPF will ensure that I won’t burn - protecting my skin.

TIP: make sure the size of your SPF is small enough to bring into venues (indu's is)!

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:

Makeup: Whenever I go out, whether it’s to a concert or a festival, I will always bring my mascara and my favourite lip combo. This is only because I might have to touch up the colour on my lips or if my lashes start to un-curl. Tip: when touching up your lip combo, use your regular lip liner and a lip balm. I do this as it lasts longer.

Digital or disposable camera: Many people bring these to concerts, including me, because I just feel like it enhances the experience that you get, as well as the quality of photos that you get. I also like bringing digital or disposable cameras because they have a natural filter on them - not needing to edit any images after the concert is just time efficient!
